Family Camping at Bear River Lake, July 10-14, 2003

Craig and Patty made reservations at this campground in the western Sierras on highway 88 about 80 miles east of Stockton at 6000 feet elevation. The small reservoir behind a dam is owned by PG&E. They toted their new trailer and we took Dazy, our 12 year old motorhome. The campground was full but the campers were quiet and peacefull; we had a great time!

Our motor home served as a great exercise location for climbing - the girls climbed eagerly to this perch.

The trash collectors drove around frequently to pick up bags of trash left by campers; here they even picked up Jessie for a ride!
