Skyline Blvd
We built our house on Skyline in 1996 and '97. Below are the links to
pictures of the construction work as it progressed. We absolutely love our new
home, and hopefully I'll get a couple of pictures of the finished product up
here. We're lucky to have some great views from the house. Here is a sunrise
taken from our bedroom:

The Story
In July of 1994 Craig was riding his motorcycle along Skyline when he saw a piece of property for sale. He fell in love with it, and by October (a few weeks after we got married) Craig & Patty, along with our good friends, Jim & Diane Coward were the proud owners of this piece of land. We planned to build two homes on the 7.6 acres overlooking the bay. Being realistic people, we didn't plan on building until the following spring and hoped to be in our homes by December 1995. To make a short story long, it took us a little more than a year to get our plans through San Mateo County's Planning department! Craig & Patty broke ground in April '96 and Jim & Diane are still waiting for the county to approve their plans.
We undertook this project largely because we know (very well - he's my brother-in-law) a contractor that we trust. Devin is great to work with and does excellent work. We're happy that he's finally able to get started (now that the county has let us go). Devin's company is called Southern Exposure Construction and we recommend him highly. Hopefully he'll have a website up soon, so that you can see his resume.
All of our tractor and drilling work has been done by Tim Oden of TKO Construction.
