Summer Camping 2004

Did I mention Kate's casting accuracy? Here she's caught James. A few minutes later she hit me in the head with her bobber. :)

Jessie caught a few fish of her own. They were a little plasticky, however.

We're almost back (with the wind at our backs).

The next day we went rafting down the Salmon river. We had a great time. James later said it was one of the highlights of the trip.

That's me in the back, acting as guide and making sure we didn't hit any of the really rough rapids (there weren't any).

On day 15 we drove to La Grande, OR where we stopped for the night. We had a fun thunderstorm an hour after this picture was taken.

The next day we drove to Jim & Diane Coward's house in Portland. "Uncle Jim" and "Aunt Diane" are very good friends. We had a great time seeing them again. We've missed them since they moved to Portland.
