Kelly was sorry we had to leave. She was enjoying climbing all over the rocks.

After lunch we drove out to the location of my Grandfather's house. It used to be two miles out on a dirt road all by itself. Now the road is completely paved and there must be more than 100 homes nearby. The home itself was leveled and a new one just built. I was thrilled to see that it was in the same location with a very similar floor plan. It looks great!

There's a new enclosed porch at this end. The gates are strikingly similar to the ones that used to be at the entrance.

When we went to find Grandpa's gravesite, we bumped into a man who used to know Grandpa and Mary named Mr. Beresford. Sadly, he had just lost his wife and was preparing her site. He spoke fondly of his wife singing with Mary.
